Making a tax-advantaged gift by donating stock is easy and quick. Donors transferring stock pay no capital gains tax or brokers’ sales commission. The amount of the deduction is based on the stock’s fair market value on the date the shares transfer to PVMF. The average of the high and low prices on that day determines fair market value.

Double or Triple Your Impact with an Employer Match!

If you are 70½ or older, you can give up to $100,000 directly from your IRA to charities such as PVMF. The transfer generates neither taxable income nor a tax deduction, so you benefit even if you do not itemize your tax deductions.
If you are 73 and above and have not taken your required minimum distribution for the year, your IRA charitable rollover gift can satisfy all or part of that requirement.
You can also make PVMF the beneficiary of your IRA.
